The “God Is Still Speaking Initiative” is our nationally driven evangelism, stewardship, and identity initiative. In addition to reaching out to potential members and strengthening UCC identity, the Stillspeaking Initiative hopes to promote increased enthusiasm and commitment among our members.

Over 50% of the churches in Rocky Mountain Conference are StillSpeaking Churches! Select the link above to find out if your church has "opted in" to the initiative. Your church can still opt in.

Churches may join The Still Speaking Initiative at any time. To become a Still Speaking church, all you need to do is:

• Assemble a group that works on church membership development, such as a growth committee or an evangelism committee.

• Participate in a training workshop (If there isn't one scheduled, we will set one up in your area around your schedule.)

• Create a web site for your church. If you cannot make one, the national UCC office will created a web site for you! Free church web page link.

• Join the Still Speaking Initiative by completing the online opt-in page on the Still Speaking Opt-In web page or by printing, completing and faxing the opt in form.

Training Workshops For God Is Still Speaking Initiative
To become a Still Speaking church, your growth committee/evangelism committee needs to attend training. If your church is considering opting in, you are welcome to attend also.

The only cost is a $20 workbook that guides you through the process of GSS Initiative. However, if funds are not available, please talk to Alice Silver.
