DeEtteLundbergDee Lundberg

Dee was called to serve the First Congregational United Church of Christ, in Casper, WY beginning March 10, 2008. She was ordained in the Montana Northern Wyoming Conference under the care of her home church in Missoula in 2000, the first Open and Affirming church in Montana. She is a graduate of United Theological Seminary of the Twin Cities.

Among her accomplishments, Dee was awarded the Lydia Myrl Kapp Memorial Award for outstanding work in preaching in 1999. In 2003 she and her Church in Iowa City received the Multicultural, Multiracial, Just Peace, Open and Affirming award from the UCC at General Synod.

Other areas of interest and service have included a deep involvment in homelessness and hunger issues, addictions counseling, and service with Global Partners.

 

RickKingRick King

Rick was called to serve the First Congregational United Church of Christ, in Longmont, CO beginning May 1, 2008.

Rick was born in Dayton, OH, Jan. 23, 1962, and raised mostly in Alliance, OH. He is the eldest of three children of an eye surgeon. Rick went to Western Reserve Academy (diploma 1980), Mount Union College (1984), and Yale Divinity School (1989).

Rick has been a technical writer, teacher, shelter worker, and massage therapist in addition to a pastor.  Most recently, he was the pastor of First Congregational UCC in Winona, MN (1998-2008).  He has been married to Linda Kopecky since 1996, and they have three boys: Elijah (10), Samuel (7), and Gabriel (5).
