"Internet 101" Are you intimidated by the internet? Don’t know a Browser from a Blog from a Boolean? Wonder where to begin looking for a Search Engine? No problem! In this informative workshop for beginners, Jenny will show you that If you can read, you can use the Internet! Jenny will go over the basics first: What is the internet? How do I find information? How do I send & receive email? How do I use a link? Next, she’ll give you a tour of the RMC website, and answer any questions you may have about how to find the information the Conference makes available to you. Finally, she’ll show you how to research and connect on whatever topics interest you! Time permitting, you can stay after the workshop and take a few moments for hands-on practice, with Jenny there to answer questions and guide your efforts.

10:30 - 12:00 "Welcome to La Foret" 90 minutes Come join us for a presentation and discussion by La Foret staff on the history, present and future of the facility in which you have ownership. We will show a PowerPoint that will include slides of the history of the Black forest dating back to the times of the Ute, Alice Bemis Taylor, and environmental assessment of La Foret, and the future of the facility. We encourage all interested to show up, ask questions and give input on the place we all love.
"Faithful Stewardship of the Endowment" Endowment funds can be both a blessing and a curse. The extra income can underwrite wonderful, life-changing ministries that regular income could not support. Or, it can become the crutch a church uses to bridge the annual budget gap between income and expenses. How can we be faithful stewards of the legacies left by those who have gone before us without letting their generosity undermine our own good stewardship? This workshop will explore this issue and offer positive suggestions for building up both, the endowment fund, and the good stewardship of those entrusted with managing it.
"Be a Global Mission Church" Come learn how your congregation can Be a Global Mission Church with the help of Global Ministries. Felix Ortiz, Global Ministries Latin America and the Caribbean area executive, will share about our international partners and how your congregation can engage effectively and faithfully in global mission. The Be a Global Mission Church booklet which presents a five step process will be discussed and specific ideas for youth involvement will be shared.
