RMCUCC Clergy Compensation Guidelines

Each year the Clergy Parish Ministry Team is charged with the responsibility of adjusting our Conference Clergy Compensation guidelines to reflect appropriate levels for the coming year. We are in the process of updating the recommendations for 2008 and will present the recommendations for approval at the Annual Meeting.

For the 2008 church budget year the guidelines for clergy compensation will be increased by 4% above the 2007 guidelines. This is based on the CPI estimate for 2007 developed in June 2006 and the actual CPI for the first three months of 2007. There will also be a slight modification to the compensation curves as the new guidelines will be based on Average Weekly Worship Attendance rather than church membership.

As soon as the new guidelines are available, they will be posted on the conference web site. The updated information will be under the title, “RMC Clergy Compensation Guidelines for the 2008 Budget Year.” To see the new information, click here.
